Shakira off to Arnold Europe

SHAKIRA DOUGHLIN has beaten the best in Barbados, Anguilla and Trinidad and Tobago this season. Now she wants to conquer the best in Europe.

The national bikini fitness queen left here yesterday afternoon on an American Airlines flight to Miami en route to Spain where she will compete at the Arnold Classic Europe in Barcelona this weekend.

It is a major assignment and another step in crossing new frontiers for the 27-year-old school teacher, who has won four of the six contests she has entered this season.

Speaking on the eve of her departure, Doughlin told the MIDWEEK NATION she was mentally and physically well prepared for the contest. (MK)
