LIFE WENT ON for at least one funeral home yesterday despite the challenges caused by Tropical Storm Matthew.
St John Funeral Home was able to put 79-year-old Eric Hinds to rest at the St Lucy Parish Church cemetery.
Funeral director Christian Agbadamashie said it was challenging but they had prepared.
“There have been times when we couldn’t bury, even at churchyards because of the severity of the situation, but we get prepared ahead of time for any circumstances. It would have to be a really, really bad situation, but for a tropical depression we are prepared for more than that,” Agbadamashie said. (TSG)
