YESTERDAY’S HEAVY RAINFALL resulted in certain areas of Barbados being inundated.
Perennial problem spots such as Sunset Crest, St James were reportedly quickly flooded as well as Vaucluse in St Thomas.
In the latter’s case, a group of people took the opportunity to let their off-road vehicles loose, churning up mud as they executed drifts along the grass and plunged through headlight-deep waters.
The sight was an example of how Tropical Storm Matthew was affecting the island but even then, there were people who were revelling in it. (CA)
