Male body found at Bakers

POLICE ARE CARRYING out investigations into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in a wooded area at Bakers, St Peter.

Public relations officer, Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler, who was on the scene tonight, said a patrol unit in the area saw the car around 5 p.m. and upon further inspection, noticed the motionless body of a male individual in the car.

Police did not release the identity of the man found in the passenger seat of the car parked off-road.

All roads leading to the area were blocked off and a number of officers could be seen busy at work.   (LK)
