SOMETIMES PEOPLE FEEL that I am superwoman and that I can empower people to change.
My cousin Delilah related to me that two years ago, she completed a very important assignment and three years later she is still awaiting the results of the outcome of that consultation.
Unfortunately, they are some people who believe that they have power over the lives of others and deliberately sit and plan how to physically keep them stagnated. These power people also walk around with a false impression of themselves and most often flash a cheeky smile when you encounter them.
However, people who design situations to impede the progress of others are hurt people. Sandra D. Wilson said “hurt people hurt people”. I said to Delilah: “Superwoman displays endurance, stamina, speed, magical weaponry and superior reflexes.”
I also shared with her what my father always said to me when I was a little girl and people took advantage of me. He would say to me in a very calm voice: “Annette, stop crying and stop trying to make sense of nonsense. Leave it to the Master.” My father was right.
Like the nut grass and superwoman, I am declaring to Delilah that “I know you like typing but you must acknowledge your spiritual gifts of fashion designing and make-up application and pursue them with passion”.
I absolutely enjoy creative writing – it stirs my passion and illuminates my mind. Recently I enrolled for a writer’s course to expand my gift of writing. The tutor is fantastic and stunningly meticulous.
Cyperus rotundus Linn, also known in English as nut grass, coco grass, nutsedge or purple nutsedge, is ignored by most persons because they view it as an invalid silent doctor. However, on the website himalayawellness.com, it is revealed that “cyperine is the major constituent in the plant, which gives nut grass its pharmacological properties”.
Further, they explained: “Nut grass is beneficial in treating nausea and digestive problems. It is used as an analgesic for menstruation pains. The herb has a positive effect on the liver, facilitating its detoxification and treatment.”
Additionally, research shows that nut grass can heal fever, sores, ulcers, and alleviate memory loss, depression, and epilepsy and help with bowel movement. On the webpage easyayurveda.com, research shows that nut grass “can help to improve breast milk production and also relieves milk duct clogs”.
Finally, this week put on your superwoman or superman cloak and research pursuing your passion and the other health benefits of nut grass.
Also, all the readers who feel like Delilah, I implore you to commence using or pursuing your spiritual gift with passion.
