NEW YORK – She’s known for her incredible vocal capabilities.

But Rihanna is preparing to show off her acting chops to the world as she’s set to star in the highly-anticipated Ocean’s Eight.

The 28-year-old multi-talented star was spotted with a script for the upcoming film while out in New York City last week.

The Barbadian beauty donned an oversized vintage graphic T-shirt that showcased her lean slender legs. She layered a knee-length satin navy coat over the garb and wore a matching baseball cap over her silky raven locks.

Rihanna stepped out in black patent leather platform sneaker wedges which added extra height to her statuesque five feet-eight inch frame.

The Work singer joins an all-female powerhouse line-up, including Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, and rapper Awkwafina, for the upcoming Steven Soderbergh-produced film, who also directed the previous Ocean’s films.

Plot details have not yet been revealed, although The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit said the film would reportedly revolve around a heist at the Met Gala.

Ocean’s Eight is set to be released June 8, 2018.

Rihanna is also on break from her Anti World Tour which is soon nearing an end. The tour, which kicked off in Jacksonville, Florida on March 12, concludes in Abu Dhabi on November 27.

Last Wednesday, hours before the final United States presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Rihanna showed New Yorkers and the world who she was throwing her support behind.

She wore a T-shirt featuring an image of Clinton as she stepped out in New York City, making it clear she was with the former New York senator.

The superstar put on a leggy display in tiny Daisy Dukes, and a pair of her signature Timberland boots. (MailOnline)
