POWER HAS BEEN restored to all wards at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a five-hour outage.

The main block of the country’s lone hospital was plunged into darkness this morning due to an electrical failure.

This was revealed by acting chief executive officer Louise Bobb during a Press conference.

While staff worked to rectify the issue, patients were moved to the few areas with power to facilitate their treatment. (AD)
