DARREN BRAVO has been sent home from the West Indies’ tour of Zimbabwe for calling West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Dave Cameron a “big idiot” on social media.

And the Trinidadian batsman could face further disciplinary action for failing to comply with a directive to remove a tweet which the board viewed as disparaging to Cameron.

The 27-year-old Bravo used his Twitter account to respond to Cameron’s explanation of why he was downgrad to a ‘C’ retainer contract.

“You have been failing for 4 d last 4 years. Y don’t u resign and FYI I’ve neva been given an A contract. Big idiot @davec51,” Bravo wrote on Friday in a tweet tagged to Cameron’s account. (HG)
