HC rule the pool with 194-point win

DO NOT be surprised if the annual Plus Active Secondary Inter-school Swimming Championship is renamed the Harrison College show for 2017.

The swimmers from Crumpton Street yesterday won the overall title by a margin of 194 points from The St Michael School, who garnered 367, and Queen’s College, who scored 289 points at the Aquatic Centre.

Harrison College boys took the title for the sixth successive year with 273 points from QC, 180, and The St Michael School, 139. Kolij girls won for the fifth consecutive year with 288 points to St Michael’s 228 and QC’s 109.

When the other 15 schools turned up at the meet and saw the likes of Danielle Titus, Nkosi Dunwoody, Destiny Harding, Aza Dunwoody, McCallum Clarke, Rebecca Lashley, Kobi Talma and Jumar Walrond getting off of the Kolij van they would have been forgiven to ask the organisers to give HC the trophies and allow the others to battle for the runner-up spots.
