KYLE HOPE PASSED 50 for the third time in as many matches yesterday but a maiden first-class century continues to elude him.
The Barbadian batsman, who is representing Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, carved an impressive career-best 86 against Leeward Islands Hurricanes on the first day of their third round match in the Digicel Regional Four-Day Cricket Competition at the Queen’s Park Oval.
Hope, who made 56 and an unbeaten 79 in the opening match against Windward Islands Valcanoes had stroked ten fours and was moving merrily along before he was trapped lbw to off-spinner Rahkeem Cornwall.
