Meanwhile, patrons who purchased Barbados is Music tickets from other box offices have been advised to contact the organisers via the ticket hotline or the event’s Facebook page for further instructions.

In a brief interview, one of the organisers of the event, Shawn Franklyn, said they were presently working on a refund strategy.

“We are now working on a strategy for all of that, so I don’t have an answer yet but I will by tomorrow morning. In the meantime patrons can continue to contact us via the ticket hotline at 832-0246, and our Facebook page Barbados Is Music with their contact information that we can contact them and advise them on the way forward,” he said.

The show, which featured the likes of the three big bands krosfyah, Square One and Coalishun, was postponed as a result of the inclement weather which plagued the island earlier today. The flood warning which was imposed was lifted at 8 p.m. (PR/NB/RA)
