THIRTEEN PEOPLE were rescued this evening by the Barbados Fire Service in Woodbourne Park, St Philip.
That word came from acting chief fire officer Lloydson Phillips. Speaking just before 6 p.m., he said other people were yet to be attended to.
He noted that there were some residents in Goodland, Christ Church who were also trapped in their homes due to the rising water levels.
Phillips said the BFS has requested a water craft from the Barbados Defence Force to aid in their efforts. (LT)
