ANOTHER YEAR, another delightful musical treat to put people in the Christmas mood.
This was the sentiment of the hundreds of people who were in Independence Square, The City, last Friday evening for the concert hosted by the Barbados Public Workers’ Cooperative Credit Union Ltd.
With lights adorning the buildings nearby, plus those green and purple ones on the trees in the square, the mood was set for a very merry Bajan Christmas Mix that signalled it’s Christmas.
The line-up featured Ruk-A-Tuk International who played before the official start, Kimberley Inniss, Betty Payne, Nikita, Ch’An, Marvay, Street Art, NJ30 Band, five dancers from the NIFCA gold award-winning Pearls Dance Academy, Belmont Primary School Choir, the Suzuki Violin School and the credit union’s staff chorale.
