FIFTH FORM STUDENTS of Combermere School are back in the classroom and some parents are relieved.
Yesterday the media was barred from the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP), where students resumed classes after three weeks away from their Waterford, St Michael campus while a special team looks into environmental concerns that have resurfaced.
Teachers and students have been complaining about feeling unwell as a result of a foul odour permeating some areas of the school’s compound.
Those same students would have been housed in some sections of the SJPP for most of the third term last year as special tests and cleaning were done at Waterford. (YB)
