BAKING OPERATIONS in a section of Purity Bakeries came to a full halt yesterday.

General manager Anderson Hope told the MIDWEEK NATION that the area in operation on Tuesdays and Fridays when major cleaning was done to other two sections, was closed around 11:30 a.m. following a routine visit from health inspectors.

Hope said the three health inspectors on site made recommendations for some additional cleaning and the third baking area was also closed.

He explained that the cleaning staff was deployed every day, but major work was done on Tuesdays and Fridays. (YB)
