That was the demand yesterday of Barbados Labour Party Christ Church West candidate Dr William Duguid to recent statements by Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy that there were no unusual levels of bacteria in the water at Worthing Beach, following heavy rains which impacted water levels in the Graeme Hall Swamp and contributed to problems affecting the sewerage system.
The Opposition politician expressed disappointment with the current administration’s handling of the South Coast Sewerage Project and management of excess water from the Graeme Hall Swamp. Moreover, he said Government’s delayed response came only after the matter was highlighted on international travel website TripAdvisor.
While asking for more clarity on the tests conducted on the water and referenced by Sealy last week, Duguid raised a number of questions. (LK)
