LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS seized 592 cannabis plants on Saturday during drug eradication operations in St Joseph and St John.
The operations were led by members of the Drug Squad with assistance from members of the Tactical Response Unit and the Barbados Defence Force.
Five hundred and forty-seven plants were found at Vaughn’s Land, St Joseph, 25 at Gingerworks in the same parish and 20 at Welch Village, St John.
The plants rained from one foot to 12 feet in height. No arrests were made. (PR/NB)
