GET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT!

Opposition Leader Mia Mottley took that message directly to Government MPs yesterday as they debated a resolution to compulsorily acquire 1 557.1 square metres of land at Prince Road, Upper Collymore Rock, St Michael, for the construction of a roundabout and the Prince Road Improvement Project.

Minister of Housing and Lands Denis Kellman informed the House of Assembly that the project was aimed at alleviating traffic gridlock in the busy St Michael area.

But Mottley chastised the administration for not turning its attention to more pressing needs facing the country, among them the land slippage at White Hill, St Andrew, transportation woes caused by broken down Transport Board buses, and reports of leaking sewage on the South Coast. (WILLCOMM)
