Mia: Answer the call

BARBADOS LABOUR PARTY supporters are being urged to answer the call whenever the bell is rung for the next general election.

Addressing attendees at the party’s Christmas reception at the Plantation Garden Theatre on Thursday night, Opposition Leader Mia Mottley said the candidates contesting the next election could not make a difference alone and everyone had a role to play.

“They say that when December comes the air starts to change, when December comes the smells are different. The truth is that something is also in the air and I’m not sure that we can call it what it is yet, but we know that something is happening; but something will only ever fully happen if all of us stand up and be counted,” she said.
