FORMER chairman of the Barbados Karting Association (BKA) Stephen Mayers and race official David Reece were recognised for their services to karting at the annual awards ceremony at the clubhouse at Bushy Park recently.
New chairman Norman Catwell said the skill and expertise brought to the sport by the two were immeasurable.
“These two gentlemen are stalwarts of karting in Barbados and they go over and above the call of duty to ensure that the rules are adhered to and that the business of karting is conducted under safe conditions,” he said.
Mayers and Reece were presented with crystal plaques from the club and dinners compliments of Beach One. (TT)
