THE ROYAL Commonwealth Society Barbados Branch has continued its annual effort to spread joy in Bridgetown at Christmas time.

Its volunteers have erected dozens of Christmas trees, which are beautifully lit at night, turning the historic capital into a Yuletide wonderland.

The trees, which were decorated by members of the Barbados Cadet Corps and other volunteers, have attracted hundreds of visitors and shoppers, particularly at night when all the cameras come out.

The Royal Commonwealth Society is an international educational charity and a private member’s club. Its mission is to support an promote the modern Commonwealth, its culture and core values. (Barbados Nation)
