ANDRE “DJ PUFFY” PARRIS returned home to a hero’s welcome last night.

Fresh from achieving world status by winning the 2016 Red Bull Thre3style World DJ Championships in Santiago, Chile – where he beat competitors from places like Australia, Britain, Japan and Canada – he touched down at Grantley Adams International Airport at 7:07 p.m., about 30 minutes after the scheduled landing.

DJ Puffy walked onto the tarmac greeted by an energetic tuk band and two stiltwalkers, and then made his way to a welcome reception compliments of the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc.

He was praised by Minister of Culture Stephen Lashley and Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy.

DJ Puffy thanked all for supporting him and his management team.

Excited family members, led by his mother Denise Williams, then mobbed him as he exited the Arrivals Hall. (JJS)
