Island no longer under flood warning

THE FLOOD WARNING for Barbados was discontinued at 5 a.m. this morning.

Acting deputy director of the Barbados Meteorological Services  Clairmonte Williams said analysis of weather conditions during the night indicated a steady diminishing of the cloudiness and showers affecting the island.

The warning which was issued yesterday was initially supposed to be in effect until noon today. (NB)
