RESIDENTS of National Housing Corporation (NHC) units at Neptune Road, Deacons,

St Michael, want to be rescued from foul-smelling water that is seeping from under their homes and creating problems.

This predicament has come about because a truck used by the NHC to pump wells at the estates has broken down. The seepage is impacting elderly neighbours Gloria Chapman and a man who referred to himself only as “Clarke”.

The seniors complained to the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday and it was subsequently discovered by a source at the NHC that the truck had been out of commission since November 28. (TSG)
