Detailed analysis done for Combermere

THE WORK UNDERTAKEN to fix the problems at Combermere School can be described as nothing other than meticulous.

Along with the fix for the sewerage system, which was considered the main culprit, a long list of the problems and their solutions were presented yesterday to parents of students who attend the Waterford school.

Registered professional civil engineer Gregg Parris gave a detailed report on the issues with the sewerage system to the crowded meeting at the school hall.

“The school has been on this site since 1958 and since that time, prefabricated structures would’ve been built and some of the classroom would’ve seen a change of use,” Parris said. (AD)
