Bajans not seeking pothole compensation

BARBADIANS HAVE not been seeking compensation for pothole damages.

That’s according to general manager of Co-Operator’s General Insurance, Anton Lovell.

His comments were triggered by what some people are calling a pothole crisis on the island. Lovell explained that damages caused by potholes could be covered by an insurance company. 

He said to be eligible to make a claim under a motor insurance policy, the vehicle owner has to possess a comprehensive motor insurance policy. He explained that a comprehensive policy covers accidental loss or damage to the vehicle. (LT)
