COACHES OF THE Women’s League of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) are charging that things are not as black and white as the hierarchy of the association would like others to believe.
In response to an article published in last Thursday’s DAILY NATION, the coaches collectively emailed their response outlining their concerns to NATIONSPORT.
“In this article, [BFA president Randy] Harris stated that the BFA was simply sticking to the rules by deducting points from teams that did not show, but he neglected to address the ongoing issues being faced by women’s football in Barbados,” the email began.
Highlighting issues of stipend, lack of emergency services, and disregard for players’ school exam schedules, the coaches said “enough is enough”.
