CAWMERE BROUGHT the thunder and lightning to defeat defending champions Barbados Bearings Limited/W. Gittens Landscaping Progressive when the Goddard Enterprises Limited senior volleyball knockouts continued at Oldbury on Tuesday night.

In a slugfest of thunderous spikes, stifling blocks and power serves, Cawmere came from two sets down to stop Progressive 19-25, 29-27, 18-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Shawn Simpson and his Jamaican teammates Mark Lewis and Robert Andrews were awesome for Cawmere.
