THE Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) continued their winning ways with an impressive come from behind 3-2 victory over UWI Blackbirds, when the Digicel Premier League continued at the National Stadium on Sunday.
The former champions prevailed in an exciting encounter, thanks to a brace from Rashad Smith and a first half Rashad Jules strike while Corey “Santa” Barrow bagged both goals for UWI.
In the earlier encounters, Rendezvous triumphed 2-0 over Brittons Hill, with Shandel Samuels opening the scoring in the 10th minute and Rashida Jeffrey Williams sealing all three points in the 76th while Paradise and Weymouth Wales played out to a goalless draw. (ML)
