GOVERNOR GENERAL Sir Elliott Belgrave has sent condolences to his Vincentian counterpart Frederick Ballantyne and the people of Barbados and St Vincent and the Grenadines on the tragic loss of three teenage girls and a Barbadian male on Sunday.

Sir Elliott said he was “very saddened” that 17-year-old Danee Horne, Aziza Dennie, 19, and 18-year-old Carianne Padmore were involved in “that horrible crash” at Graeme Hall, Christ Church, along with 23-year-old Barbadian Andre Gittens.

The girls were hospitality students on a six-week attachment at The Crane Resort.

Gittens was an employee of The Crane and the driver of the vehicle in which the three girls were travelling. (YB)
