PAN AMERICAN International Insurance Warrens are the double crown queens of Goddard Enterprises Limited volleyball while Chargers men achieved the same when the knockout finals were played on Sunday night at Oldbury.
Playing in front of a large crowd, Chargers claimed their third double crown by denying Cawmere their first senior volleyball title 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-13.Â
However, it was a case of Warrens dethroning Flow Deacons while avenging their sole defeat of the season to clinch their first knockout crown as well as their first double crown honours 14-25, 24-26, 25-20, 25-16, 15-13.Â
Rhe-Ann Niles and Anthazia Mason pulled Warrens around after the attack of Julia Lewis, Shonte Seale and De-Ann Smith had suggested a Deacons blowout. (KB)
