Red all over again

RED HOUSE captured their sixth consecutive title at the West Terrace Primary School Inter-house track and field Championships at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex yesterday.

They ran away with the title, winning five of the eight relays.

Red tallied 498.5 points, while Blue had to settle for second with 473. Purple were a distant third with 366.5 pointsand Green House had 365 points.

Blue had their fair number of triumphs, capturing the victrix ludorum title and two girls division champion titles, thanks to the Holford sisters.

Jazarah Holford performed outstandingly in the Under-13 Girls division, snatching the victrix ludorum title with 30 points.

She won the road race, 400 metres and 600 metres and placed second in the long jump.

Under-11 Girls champion and up-and-coming road tennis queen Solange Holford recorded 24 points, while Azari Dallaway of Green House tallied 33 points.

Victor ludorum Jonathan Harmon of Purple House amassed 37 points in the Under-13 division.

He won the 100 metres, 400 metres and the 800 metres open and was second in the road race.

The impressive Skye Spencer-Layne also showed her competitiveness while preparing for the upcoming NAPSAC to record 29 points.

She won the 100 metres, 200 metres and the long jump and placed third in the 400 metres.

Nataria Goggins-Chambers captured the Under-9 division title with 19 points and the boys’ title went to Khalid Germain of Red with 21 points. (RG)
