Howlie holds court

RAIN DISRUPTED the second night of the Silver Hill Road Tennis Championships on Tuesday but not before another set of exciting duels were completed.

Homeboy Adrian “Howlie” Walker provided the show of the night with a 21-12, 21-15 victory over Jefferson Scantlebury.

Walker played several attacking gems against Scantlebury who countered with some unusual looking but potent shots.

The shocker and what must be termed an upset occurred in the match between the newcomer out of Chelston, Ashton Blackett, and A Class player Glen “Chicken” Harris, with Blackett plucking his higher ranked opponent 21-18, 21-18. (KB)
