DEFEATED GOVERNOR OF the Central Bank Dr DeLisle Worrell may be open to a settlement, his legal team hinted yesterday, moments after the Court of Appeal removed an order that protected him from being fired.
Worrell, the highest paid public servant at $240, 000 annually, has been fighting for the last 12 days to hold on to the post at the regulatory agency, where he has been not only governor but chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors since 2009.

The Court of Appeal comprising of Justices of Appeal Sandra Mason, Kaye Goodridge and Andrew Burgess will give its reason for the ruling next Friday. (AC)
