Pine folk still awaiting title deeds

DESPITE BEING PROMISED keys to their homes by Government, dozens of people in The Pine, St Michael, are still waiting.

That’s the claim coming from Member of Parliament for St Michael South East, Santia Bradshaw, who on Saturday toured the community with other Barbados Labour Party (BLP) representatives.

Speaking in front of a garbage-strewn pasture, Bradshaw said that the area they stood on showed the disdain the current Government had shown to Barbadians, particularly as it related to affordable housing.

She explained that for years now, the residents had been waiting in vain for title deeds to the homes they had been renting for years. (AD)
