THE BARBADOS AMBULANCE Service is moving but some staff are not happy about it.
Emergency medical technicians are, however, being asked to bear with the new location.
The WEEKEND NATION was contacted by some members of the service who said the move to the busy Wildey, St Michael area, across from the Edgar Cochrane Polyclinic, was a backward step which would make their already difficult jobs unnecessarily harder.
When a team visited the area, workmen were moving in furniture as well as making repairs to the structure. Signs were already in place as well as road markings. (CA)
