A LONG-STANDING debt may result in a St John family losing its home.
Maxine Cummins of Gall Hill said she was being unfairly treated by family members who were trying to cheat her out of her house by allegedly making her pay $55 000, which she considered a wildly inflated funeral bill.
However, a check with the attorney for Jo-anne Jones Funeral Services revealed a different story.
Cummins told the WEEKEND NATION that it all began years ago when her father passed away. (CA)
