A NEW POLITICAL COALITION has been formed.
The Citizens Action Partnership (CAP) has been created as an umbrella group for anyone looking to run in the next general elections outside of the two established political parties.
Partnership chairman and former Barbados Labour Party (BLP) Christ Church East Member of Parliament, Wendell Callender, speaking at the movement’s launch last week at Sky Mall, called for an end to the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) and BLP duopoly.
“I’ve gone to all kinds of people, whether they be doctors, lawyers, teachers or vendors. We have spoken to them and we know how they feel about the leadership of Barbados,” he said. (AD)
