A FORMER FIREARMS DEALER pleaded guilty to having 19 guns and 4 527 bullets when he appeared yesterday in the No. 5 Supreme Court.
Michael Ian Holder, of Moravian Drive, Fairholme Gardens, Christ Church, made the admission before Justice Jacqueline Cornelius.
Holder was charged with having 15 assorted calibre pistols, two assorted calibre revolvers, a shotgun and one rifle without a valid licence, along with the 4 527 assorted rounds of ammunition on January 31, 2012.
Principal Crown Counsel Elwood Watts said police had information regarding Holder storing firearms and ammunition at an apartment in Hothersal Turning, St Michael. Following up on that tip they executed a warrant at the location and made the find.
