Man found dead in his home

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the death of a St Philip man.

The body of the 66-year-old Richard Shepherd was discovered in a pool of blood in his home at Bamboo Avenue, Mapps earlier this evening.

Police public relations officer, Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler said based on information received, police visited the man’s home, where they discovered the former plantation manager lying face down.

Anyone who can provide any information that can assist with these investigations is asked to call District ‘C’ Police Station at 4168200, Oistins Police Station at 4182609, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800–TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.                

 This is the fifth murder for the year. (BA)
