THE DEMOLITION OF the building where the ill-fated clothing store Campus Trendz was situated has revived sad memories for the family of one of the six young women who perished after a brazen robbery and fire-bombing of the City store.
Yesterday evening, Cicely Harding learned through a news report of the fate of the Tudor Street building.
She said it almost brought tears to her eyes as she wondered what life would be like if her granddaughter Tiffany Harding had survived.
On September 3, 2010, three Campus Trendz employees – Kellisha Olliviere, Shanna Griffithand Pearl Cornelius – along with shoppers Kelly-Ann Welch and Nikkita Belgrave and Harding, lost their lives after Renaldo Alleyne and Jamar Bynoe robbed the store and fire-bombed the business place with Molotov cocktails made of gasoline-filled beer bottles.
