Taitt Hill robbers suspected of other crimes

POLICE ARE APPEALING for information surrounding the aggravated burglary at Taitt Hill Minimart and Bar on March 25.

Five men armed with gun entered the Taitt Hill, St George business and robbed the proprietor Ivan Lowe and four patrons.

Police say the five men “are suspected to be involved in committing other criminal offences and are believed to be driving around in a vehicle targeting victims”.

Anyone who can provide any information is asked to contact 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station.

Members of the public are being reminded of the importance of being extremely vigilant and cognizant of their environment as they engage in routine activities.

Special attention must be placed on suspicious people or vehicles. (PR/NB)
