HAVING EASILY EARNED the right to be called the fastest horse at the Garrison Savannah by winning last month’s Sandy Lane Spa Sprint, Wild Cat Tea’s rule of the sprint division looks set to be extended today.
The Aysha Syndicate six-year-old horse should make light work of a five-horse field in the featured 1 100 metres Garrison Savannah Handicap around 4:20 p.m.
In the event for three-year-old and older horses rated 140-120 and below, Wild Cat Tea’s main competition, if any, appears to be Lucky Adventure and Dazzlin David.
Some consideration should be given to the veteran Sirius Black, who two starts ago defeated these horses at the trip compliments of a stewards’ upgrade on January 14.
