SLOWLY BUT SURELY.
That’s how general secretary of the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) Roslyn Smith has described the voting turnout thus far, for elections today.
Members are heading to the polls today to determine whether current president Akanni McDowall will regain his post, or if his lone challenger Roy Greenidge, will be successful.
Smith said so far people had been trickling in, but she expected a rush later this evening.
While she could not give a final number, she expected more than 2 000 NUPW members to  vote. (RB)
