Venom and Holder in Titans final

NUMBER ONE seeds Kim Holder and Mark “Venom” Griffith are into Sunday’s finals of the Massy United Insurance Clash of the Titans Road Tennis Championship.

For a brief moment both Holder and Griffith were threatened by annoying drizzles from Cherene “Tiny Lion” Ward and Darius “Baracus” Gaskin when the semi-finals were staged on Tuesday night at the Dover Courts. mark-griffith

However, the brilliance of the two tennis stars scorched away any doubts as to who would advance.

Griffith, aiming for a fourth successive crown was breathtaking in returning numerous blistering attacks from young Gaskin. The champ also put on his exhibition of smashes and unbelievable defence that wowed the crowd as he won 21-13, 21-16, 13-21, 21-16. (KB)
