No backing for highway project

THE ARON AND Christina Truss Foundation’s Highway 1 project has ended in failure.

The reason? A lack of trust in the Freundel Stuart administration.

A disappointed Aron Truss told the WEEKEND NATION he was surprised by some of the attitudes he encountered while attempting to secure the needed $3.6 million.

“The plan was to raise the money to repair the highway from the top of Spring Garden [St Michael] all the way to Holetown [St James],” he said. (CA)
