MILTON LYNCH and Reynold Weekes are the winners of the inaugural Christ Church Foundation Primary Schools Relay Festival.
At the Christ Church school grounds last Wednesday, Milton Lynch amassed 66 points, second-placed Reynold Weekes got 52, while Blackman and Gollop finished with 40 points in the boys’ division.
In the girls’ division, the competition was tighter. Reynold Weekes earned 53 points, second-placed Christ Church Girls’ tallied 50 points, while St Christopher Primary School ran into third position with 45 points.
While Nya Browne made a strong showing in the Under-13 division, anchoring her team to victory in one minute 17.35 seconds, the NAPSAC champion almost lost her first place in the open girls’ 500-metre sprint medley. (RA)
