MEMBERS OF THE Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union (BSTU) will go into a huddle on Tuesday as they craft a response to the Ministry of Education’s threat to dock the pay of those who took part in last week’s march.

Calling the threat another attack on teachers, BSTU president Mary Redman said the annual general meeting at Harrison College will be restructured so that issue will be the major order of business.

“There are some decisions that we have to make, including our reaction to the issue of pay, and we need to have our members out here now so we wouldn’t have to call them back out again during vacation,” she told the SUNDAY SUN yesterday.
