Eagle Eyes the top shots

TEAM BARBADOS Eagle Eyes emerged victors of the recently concluded William Murrell Team Challenge Shoot.

The local team, made up of Lance Trotman, Richard Arthur, Marlon King and Tonia Edwards, earned 557 points. In second place were Sons of Anarchy, comprising Mitchinson Beckles, Alfred Stuart, Wade McClean and Jason Wood, who finished with 528 points.

Team Rosewood, made up of captain Willoughby “Bill” King, Ryan Williams, Ashford Jones and Anthony Wood were third, while fourth place was captured by team T5 that included Tessa Mayers, Vercellice Ramsay, Robyn Cossey and Javid Benjamin.

The shoot was established in memory of Murrell, a former director of the Barbados Rifle Association, and consisted of a four-member team on a 2×10 match (two sightings shots and ten shots to score) at 300, 500 and 600 yards. (RA/PR)
