Wales tipped to ease over Belfield

WEYMOUTH WALES are highly favoured to beat Belfield and remain at the top of the standings in the Barbados Football Association’s Digicel Premier League when the action continues at the Wildey AstroTurf tonight.

Playing in the second of three games, the leaders have looked a cut above the rest because of the enormous depth they possess. If there’s any weakness within their ranks, no team has been able to exploit it and this could be the reason why they are the only unbeaten unit in the league.

Defending champions UWI Blackbirds put them on the ropes in their last match but they staved off the pressure with grit, determination and a little bit of luck to come out on top with a hard-fought 2-1 triumph. (PR)
